Congratulations to our own Head Coach, Brian Burnley, on being named Waterloo Minor Hockey Association’s AAA Coach of the Year.
“I was honoured to recently receive the WMHA’s AAA Coach of the Year Award. I see this not just as an individual award but an overall team award, too. Our coaching staff could not succeed without a terrific behind-the-scenes team propping us up.”
Brian, a D1 certified coach, has almost 30 years of coaching experience in minor hockey. He himself played 3 years in Junior A (Tier II) in the CCHL and, as a major midget hockey player, played in the Air Canada (now Telus) Cup.
Brian will be returning for 2023-24 (his fifth season with the U18 AAA Wolves) for his third season as Head Coach.
